Circuit testing is how you decide whether a fault is a feed, an earth or a switch, and the tool you use decides how much you disturb the circuit. An incandescent test lamp draws enough current to prove a circuit under load; a high-impedance LED probe reads a wire without pulling it down. Knowing which one you are holding is the difference between a diagnosis and a guess.
These testers are listed with the voltage range they cover and the type of indication they give — bulb, LED, buzzer or a powered probe with its own supply. For 24 V systems choose a tester rated above your system voltage rather than exactly at it; on a modern vehicle with sensitive electronics, use the high-impedance mode so you do not back-feed a control module.
Rated 12–24 V DC with a coiled lead and a stainless steel probe; ABS plastic body with a crocodile clip on the earth lead. Lamp variants take a replaceable bulb, LED and powered variants draw under 10 mA in high-impedance mode.
Check the size and quantity against your own job first: most returns in this category come from ordering the wrong diameter, finish or pack size rather than from a fault. If you are unsure, send us a photo or a measurement and we will confirm which variant you need.
