What it is for

Fitting handles is the job where a millimetre matters and a second attempt leaves two extra holes in a finished door. A drilling jig sets both hole centres at once and keeps the bit square to the face, which is the difference between a row of handles that lines up and one that nearly lines up.

The screw kit exists for the other half of the problem: fronts of different thickness, and handles whose own screws are too long, too short or the wrong thread. Both items are small, cheap and travel for almost nothing alongside a larger order.

Specification detail

Drilling jig: hardened bushes at 96 mm and 128 mm centres, with a depth stop and a reversible body for left and right doors. Screw kit: M4 screws in 25, 30, 35 and 40 mm lengths with spacers, in a compartmented box.
