What it is for

A cabinet handle is bought on hole centres, not on how it looks. If the holes already drilled in the door are 96 mm apart, a 128 mm handle will not fit and no amount of adjustment fixes it — which is why every variant here leads with its hole centres and only then says what shape it is.

The screw length matters too: door fronts run from 16 mm to 22 mm thick, so handles are supplied with a screw that can be shortened rather than one that bottoms out inside the door. Sets are sized for a kitchen or a run of workshop units, not for a single drawer.
