Two instruments that get confused with each other: the rule is for setting a size or checking a gap, the vernier is for reading a dimension to a hundredth. Both belong on the bench, because the rule is what you reach for first and the vernier is what you use when the rule is not enough.
stainless steel is the material and it is not a detail: a rule that rusts after a year in a damp workshop is a rule you stop using, and the etched scale on a good one stays legible when the surface is worn. Read at eye level to avoid parallax, and never use a vernier as a scribing tool — the jaws are ground to measure, not to mark.
Stainless Steel Rule, 300 mm, in stainless steel, graduated to 1 mm. The vernier version reads outside, inside and depth and carries a locking screw; the rule is etched on both faces with a hanging hole at one end.
Orders are consolidated and re-weighed at intake, and freight is re-calculated on the actual chargeable weight. If you are ordering several items for one address, ask us for a combined quote before paying — mixing light and bulky items usually brings the freight share down.
