What it is for

Safety glasses fail for two reasons: they fog up, so they come off, or they are uncomfortable enough that they never go on. Impact protection is the easy part — what decides whether they are worn is the fit at the nose and the anti-fog performance of the lens.

Smoke lenses are for outdoor work in daylight, not for a dim workshop; a tinted lens in poor light is why someone lifts them onto their forehead. Over-glasses frames are designed to sit over a prescription pair, and the side arms have to be long enough to clear the frame temple.

Specification detail

Polycarbonate lens with an anti-fog coating and a wraparound frame, in the lens tint listed. Adjustable side arms; the over-glasses variant is sized to fit over a prescription frame. Supplied individually, with a microfibre pouch on the anti-fog grades.

After-sales

Two-year warranty against manufacturing defects. Spare parts and wear items are kept in stock for the models we sell, so you are not forced to replace a whole assembly over one worn component. Warranty support is handled by e-mail in English, German or French.
